Ben Davies is a contemporary landscape photographer currently based in the North West of England, Manchester.

His work, primarily shot with a large format view camera, looks to explore the relationship we have with either the urban or rural landscape and how we as the human race have affected them both. Whether its either through memory or through visual elements in regards to the land. Davies is interested in the anthropological relation the landscape obtains and how photography can help to epitomize this, in definitely. Working with a large format camera Davies is able to capture minute and unnoticed features within a photograph that help to exemplify and question meaning within the landscape that surrounds us.
